Winton Valley SAY Soccer considers the development of referee skills and
training a top priority, assuring continued fun, competitive play, balanced with
a comprehensive understanding for the rules of the game and an appreciation for
the role that referees play in orchestrating a well-managed game.
New, Returning and USSF Referee Clinics
Are you a New Referee, Returning Referee or a Coach
interested in getting up to date on the rules of the game of soccer?
Winton Valley SAY Soccer will be hosting its training sessions for the new and
returning referees.
New Referees
Sessions for new referees will be held on Wednesday, July 22 - 6:30pm -
9:30pm, Thursday, July 23 - 6:30pm - 9:30pm, and Monday, July 27 - 6:30pm -
9:30pm . All sessions
will be held at the
Hartwell Recreation Center, on Vine Street at the corner of Vine and Galbraith
Roads.
Please note: New referees must complete the on-line training before the 9
hours of classroom instruction. The online training
is available here:

Returning
Referees
Returning referees and coaches interested in an update on the game of soccer are
to attend the the final session on Monday,
July 27, from 6:30pm - 9:30pm, or
Wednesday, August 12
from 6:30pm - 8:30pm.

USSF Referees
USSF Referees may also become eligible for SAY games by doing the
following:
- View the online
Laws
of the Game Training and bring the Certificate of Completion
to the class.
- Take the written test during the final
training session Monday, July 27, from 6:30pm - 9:30pm, or
Wednesday, August 12 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm.
